MRC is unabashedly pro-life. On Friday, January 23, 2026, many MRC staff joined tens of thousands from across the country to march in the nation's capital for the 53rd annual March for Life, America's largest pro-life demonstration.

Vice President JD Vance addressed the crowd in person. He shared exciting personal news: he and his wife, Usha, are expecting their fourth child. The announcement drew massive cheers, a powerful pro-life moment amid the rally.

This was major, uplifting news — yet the Big Four News Apps (Apple News, Google News, MSN, and Yahoo News) completely blacked it out. These dominant gatekeepers keep dying leftist outlets alive by promoting them without competition from conservative sources, controlling what millions see first on iPhones, Androids, browsers, and more. 

MRC tracked their feeds that morning: zero coverage of the March for Life. Instead: anti-ICE protestors, winter storms, and stories from HuffPost, Salon, Buzzfeed, The Daily Beast, and The New York Times. Fox News or New York Post? Invisible.

Our MRC Video team of Justine Brooke Murray, and Free Speech America's Tom Olohan, hit the streets of the March and did what the elitist media won't: real journalism. They asked attendee after attendee to pull out their phones right then and there and open Google News, open Apple News, and hunt for any sign of the massive pro-life march happening around them.

Zero. Not one person saw the March for Life on their feeds. Not a headline, not a top story — nothing. It was a teachable moment.
