Our latest MRC Special Report, first released as a Fox News exclusive, dissected every report about the Minneapolis situation on ABC World News Tonight, CBS Evening News, and NBC Nightly News from January 7-17. The analysis identified a total of 121 minutes and 26 seconds of coverage. Of that airtime, a staggering 93 percent was negative toward federal immigration officials, with ABC and NBC each at 91 percent negative and CBS at 96 percent negative.  

The special report further found that only 1.6 percent of the coverage referenced crimes committed by the illegal immigrants whom the ICE deployment was intended to apprehend.  

Fox News quoted me on the MRC report: “No news network produces coverage this dishonest by accident. The elitist media’s abysmal reporting proves their intent, which is to nullify immigration law via manipulating public opinion.”

Adam Carolla joked that the fastest way to stop attacks on ICE would be a simple rebrand: add “National” to the name. After all, who’s going to scream “Abolish NICE!”? Humor aside, the Left hates the mission. Their media agitators target ICE because of a radical anti-American ideology designed to protect a future Democrat voting bloc and consolidate a permanent grip on our elections.
