Larry Gourlay
As the Director of Investor Relations, Southeast Region, Larry nurtures relationships with conservative-minded philanthropists and assists them in meeting their charitable investment goals.
Larry is affectionately known as the “Grand Old Man of Fundraising,” having worked side-by-side with Brent Bozell since the MRC’s founding in 1987. With a modest fundraising goal of just $200,000 in those early days, Larry has helped fuel the MRC’s growth and expansion by driving millions in donations during his 30+ years with the organization.
Larry and Brent have been conservative soulmates for quite a while, prior to the MRC, working together at the National Conservative Foundation and NCPAC under Terry Dolan.
Larry enjoys gardening, bodysurfing, and rooting for hometown favorites, the Nationals and Commanders.
When it’s time to kick up his feet and relax indoors, he cites “Battlestar Galactica” (the original) as his all-time favorite binge-watch and “Casablanca,” the best movie ever.
He shares his home with Handsome Samson, his Maine Coon cat.
