Lana DeJesus

Philanthropic Advisor

Before joining the MRC in 2017, Lana had quite the pedigree. Right out of high school, she joined the Army National Guard, which allowed her to concurrently pursue a career. Lana worked in retail banking for several years, followed by four years in commercial real estate.

She left the workforce to focus on her biggest job yet: taking care of her children as a stay-at-home mom. After the kids were old enough, Lana decided to go back to school and expand her horizons.

She attended Rutgers University, where she graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Political Science and Entrepreneurship, the ideal credentials to avail her passion for conservatism at the MRC.

She currently lives in Virginia, with her husband, four sons, and mother.

In addition to her job at the MRC, Lana loves doing projects around the house, cooking out with her family, swimming, and playing with the kids. She is also very true to her faith and leads worship services at her church.
