Email Marketing Coordinator

Looking for a customer service-centric email marketing specialist proficient in Pardot and Salesforce to create and monitor digital marketing campaigns, identify target audiences, build lead generation, and optimize layouts and designs. Persuade new and returning audiences to support the organization’s mission, converting leads into loyal donors and long-term supporters.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Marketing automation, email marketing, lead segmentation and targeting, engagement campaigns, and conversion funnel optimization 
  • Lead digital marketer, organization's marketing automation specialist, and database administrator 
  • Build web landing pages in Pardot  
  • Maintain the data integrity and upkeep of the Pardot database 
  • Maintain Pardot best practices, including building and maintaining Pardot funnels 
  • Coordinate Salesforce activities and tasks with Director of Database and Direct Response
  • Build and update email templates
  • Data cleaning, importing and tagging to maintain the data integrity and upkeep of the Pardot database 
  • Project manager for ongoing and rapid response projects
  • Maintaining email deliverability/IP health 
  • Assist with paid and organic lead generation 
  • Support and generate ideas for all marketing, fundraising, and grassroots campaigns
  • Develop customer and vendor relationships
  • Donor communications via emails, landing and thank you pages, embeds, etc.
  • Copywriting, proofreading, and editing
  • Valued team member to assist with creative and functional aspects of the DCT
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as needed to help achieve DCT and Development Team goals

Required Experience & Education:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience or recent college graduate
  • Pardot and Salesforce certifications preferred, not required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce
  • Thorough knowledge of Pardot, including new features and updated versions
  • Thorough understanding of email marketing best practices and standards 
  • Strong technical knowledge of customer databases, marketing automation, and QA testing for emails
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ISPs, various email platforms, blacklist prevention
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
  • General knowledge of iDonate or other fundraising platforms
  • Project management 
  • Critical thinker and strategizer
  • Excellent in grammar and written communication
  • Solid interest in political and pop culture news, the conservative movement, and traditional and digital media
