We just caught Big Tech red-handed hiding scandals tied to Democrat candidates in this year’s elections.

Our latest MRC Special Report shows that Google News, Microsoft’s MSN, Yahoo News, and AOL News—the world’s biggest news aggregators, with hundreds of millions of views per month between them—buried stories about major scandals involving four Democrats in Virginia, New York, and New Jersey.

They did it to protect candidates like Virginia’s new attorney general Jay Jones, who fantasized about children being killed; and Governor-elect Abigail Spanberger, who refused to denounce him. They did it to shield New Jersey’s Mikie Sherrill, accused of insider trading, and New York’s Zohran Mamdani, who distorted 9/11 to make it about Islamophobia.

Google and the other aggregators erased those scandals from public view while flooding their platforms with far-left content from outlets like Salon attacking Trump, conservatives, and Christians.

The result is information control. In 2020, this same manipulation buried the Hunter Biden laptop story—costing the country an honest election. Now it is happening again. If the truth cannot reach voters, nothing else matters.

MRC Vice President Dan Schneider put it plainly: “By keeping users in the dark, Big Tech acted to protect these Democrats and everyone on the ballot with them.”
