Media Research Center
The Media Research Center is currently seeking applicants for several fundraiser positions. Openings exist for both experienced and entry level fundraisers.
Major Gift Fundraiser
The MRC is currently in the final planning stages for a major Capital Campaign and has openings for experienced major gift fundraisers. Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years of fundraising experience with not-for-profit organizations or with political campaigns. Equivalent professional sales experience in other industries will be considered. One on one personal solicitation experience with individuals, foundations or corporations is mandatory. This is not an event planning position.
Professional presentation and the ability to effectively communicate both in person and writing are required. Candidates must be well versed in conservative issues and current political events as well as with the media.

Marketing/Graphic
Design Intern
America’s largest
and most respected media watchdog is seeking a
Marketing/Graphic Design Intern interested in
all aspects of campaign management for the fall
semester. The internship is a full-time position
from the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. with
flexible schedule options and a compensation of
$8.50 per hour.
*Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, and Quark is
desired and Web experience is a plus.*

Investigative Reporter

writer/investigative reporter with extensive
knowledge of U.S. politics and the issues
important to a conservative audience.
The successful applicant will demonstrate
previous experience in identifying sources and
uncovering documents and other detailed
information necessary for the publication of
investigative journalism. Qualified candidates
must be able to demonstrate building a story
from the ground up, obtaining the necessary
corroborative materials, quotes and background
to craft complete articles for edit and
publication.
Solid organizational skills, writing excellence
and the willingness to be a team player in a
small unit are essential.

Internships
Interns work closely with MRC analysts to monitor news programs for liberal media bias. They input details into the News Tracking System and also review assigned print publications. The interns participate in the News Division’s weekly meetings and discuss current news and trends being documented.
