Evening News Analyst

MRC Latino, the Hispanic media arm of the Media Research Center, has an opening for a full-time, entry-level Evening News Analyst to identify, document and counter liberal media bias as it occurs in top Spanish-language news media, through highly engaging written English and Spanish-language analysis for the MRC NewsBusters.org blog. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

Incumbent must be willing and able to work during Monday-Thursday national evening newscast and Sunday talk show programming hours. 

Required Experience & Education: 

The position requires previous journalism experience (either professional or college - don’t apply without it), a passion for honest journalism and thoroughly accurate content, video editing skills, professional proficiency in writing and speaking in English and Spanish, as well as the capacity to successfully engage audiences on the leading social media platforms. In addition, candidates should possess keen interest in U.S. domestic political perspectives across the ideological spectrum, be assiduous followers of current events and regular consumers of both national English and Spanish-language news media.
